This 100% natural (unbleached) ethically sourced cotton tea towel has been hand screen printed with Natty's own hand drawn Arohanui Tui design. It is machine-washable.
Tui are found throughout New Zealand and unlike some of New Zealand’s other native bird species, are not threatened. They have a unique, beautiful song and distinctive white tuft under their throats. Their feathers are black, brown, with teals and greens. They can often be found balanced on Aotearoa’s native tree branches, drinking nectar from flowers.
Featuring NZ nature, and native birds, Natty products have been lovingly designed, created and printed with many hand-crafted by Cat Mckay in her Wellington studio, since 2013. Designing and producing hand-printed textiles, illustrated gift cards, stationery and homeware. The Nature range illustrates native NZ flora and fauna and their products strive to celebrate Aotearoa, providing beautiful mementos without being overtly ‘Kiwi’. Natty aims to evoke and celebrate the natural environment with their product, rather than impact on it so they package as lightly as possible and use local suppliers as often as they can. All product printing and packaging is done here in NZ, mostly in Wellington.
