Tania is a jewellery designer and maker of contemporary Maori and Pacific inspired adornment. Quietly making jewellery for galleries across New Zealand, Australia and Pacific since 2006.
Her studio is located in the picturesque beach settlement of Titahi Bay, Porirua. An aspiring business women who has complimented her jewellery manufacturing with retailing. Opening her first retail store in Raglan in 2004-2011 and Nelson 2007-2014. The Great War Exhibition 2014- 2018. Fast forward to 2020 Tania is the General Manager of Te Papa Stores at New Zealand's National Museum.
Tania represented the Tall Ferns-NZ Women’s Basketball team from 1992-2004 adorning the black jersey at the Sydney and Athens Olympic games. Tania and husband Chris Tupu (Former Tall Black 1991-2000) continue to give back to Basketball through coaching juniors and school aged kids in Wellington.
