Small Limited Edition Print 355 x 280mm by Rochelle Andrews (unframed)
Rochelle Andrews has been a professional artist since graduating from an Illustration Degree at Victoria University of Wellington in 1996. Creative Arts has long run in her family as her great, great Uncle James Brown was NZ’s first political cartoonist from 1852 and her passion for painting was largely influenced by her Father with his own talent for oil painting and Aviation Art.
“I take my inspiration from creation around me and seek to magnify the real Master’s own handiwork - the delicate crinkles of a petal, the beauty of the human form and that golden light at the end of the day”
Rochelle has had solo exhibitions in New Zealand, Dubai and London. She has undertaken many commissioned pieces and her artwork can be found in private/corporate collections internationally.
Some of her most popular paintings have been reproduced as high quality Limited Edition Prints which are now available through the Te Papa Store.
